Bwera – Kasese: Territorial Police at Bwera Division in Kasese District are holding three (03) suspects masquerading to be military officials attached to State House – Entebbe. The arrested individuals are
The suspects are; Byabagambi Godwin 42 yrs Old, Munyankole by tribe, Resident of Milo 1, Mbarara City North Division, Twesigye Richard 48 yrs , Munyankole by tribe, Resident of Nyaruhanga Cell, Ruhaama Parish , Ruhaama Sub-county in Ntungamo District, and Baluku Isaac 47 yrs old , Mukonzo by tribe, Resident of Kabuyiri I, Cell, Mpondwe Town Council in -Kasese District.
The trio were arrested at Bwera Police Station after they failed to properly prove that they work with State House, this prompted the District Police Commander SP Tai Ramadan to order for their immediate arrest , the Motor vehicle Reg No. UBK 573 D was also impounded and upon search , a sharp knife was recovered, stamps of different Companies were also recovered. A charge of Impersonation has been preferred against these individuals and if the file is sanctioned the trio will be arraigned in Court .
Commenting on the arrest, Nelson Tumushime, Spokesperson Police Kasese has called upon members of the public who could have experienced or have been affected by actions of these suspects to reach to the nearest Police Station near them to provide more information that will lead to the prosecution of these three.
