Apostle Olori Godwin from the Reveled chapel International Churches in Monrovia Liberia, has called upon political leaders on African continent to seek dialogue as a vehicle of solving challenges they face as opposed to investing in conflict which leads to unnecessary destruction of property and death at worst.
He made the remarks Wednesday 7th May 2025 at Emerald Hotel in Kampala during the official opening ceremony for the three day Agape Outreach Ministries 2025 annual conference.
Dubbed ‘Destiny empowerment conference’ brought together over 200 both local and International delegates.
Under the theme ‘Setting pillars for God’ the conference comprises of parallel sessions discussing pertinent issues affecting the Church and Humanity as well as preaching messages of peace among the African countries currently engulfed in civil wars like South Sudan and the Sudan respectively among others.
Bishop James Odewo from the Jesus Centered church Nairobi Kenya noted that some politicians have let down the people they lead over selfish interests yet they are supposed to be servants of the citizens.
He, however called upon the church leaders to offer spiritual guidance to these politicians such that they acknowledge responsibility that they lead on behalf of God.
The Bishop of Agape Outreach Ministries and chief convener of the conference Patrick Musoke said the meeting brings together stakeholders in Christ to discuss the numerous projects they have undertaken as well seeking solutions to the outstanding challenges.
He encouraged Christians of all walks of life to join them for the special preaching sessions from the high level visiting clergy from several countries.
