Phaneroo Ministries is set to host the fifth edition of its Global Inter-University Conference (GIC) in November, with Zambian gospel artiste Pompi lined up to headline the worship and music ministry.
The conference is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026, starting at 2:00pm at Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Kampala.
The annual gathering is expected to bring together students from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools and specialised training institutions across Uganda and beyond for a programme centred on spiritual growth, leadership, personal development and purpose.
Pompi will headline the musical and worship segment of the conference alongside several Ugandan gospel ministers, adding an international dimension to this year’s fifth edition.
Phaneroo said the conference has, over the years, grown into a platform for empowering young people with biblical principles and practical skills to help them navigate an increasingly dynamic world.
The fifth edition will also feature Apostle Grace Lubega, Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries, globally acclaimed leadership coach and author Dr Cindy Trimm, and Apostle Felix Okoh of House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg.
“We believe that this generation carries tremendous potential to transform nations,” Lubega said at last year’s conference.
“The Global Inter-University Conference exists to raise young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and prepared to lead with excellence in every sphere of society.”
Beyond preaching and worship, Phaneroo said participants will have access to professional counselling, corporate networking and career-building opportunities through partnerships with leading organisations.
The conference will also feature a student talent showcase covering music, dance and drama, with prizes for standout performers.
Phaneroo said security arrangements have been put in place and all necessary permissions from relevant authorities have been obtained.
The ministry said it is working with security agencies and partners to ensure a secure environment for attendees, with food and beverages also available for purchase at the venue.
