Uganda Electoral Commission embarked on the National Voters Register Display exercise on April 25. The ongoing exercise will conclude on May 15, 2025.
The exercise is being done in preparation for the forthcoming 2025-2026 General Elections, in accordance with Section 26 of the Electoral Commission Act (Cap 176)
With the growing technology across the globe, Uganda electoral commission finds it necessary to embed technology in the exercise in ensuring those who can’t make it to thier polling stations to update their details are not left out.

The Display exercise is very vital and it allow the public to report several issues such as reporting names of deceased persons appearing on the register to the Display Officer. These corrections help clean the register before polling.
