Kampala, Uganda — Generation Seven has officially outlined its campaign strategy for the 2026 general elections, with a strong focus on fulfilling President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s pledges made during the Parish Development Model (PDM) tour.
The National Coordinator Stephen Mukasa emphasized the organization’s commitment to mobilizing support across the country by ensuring the implementation of presidential promises and advancing the NRM’s ideological agenda at the grassroots level.
Key Objectives:
- Facilitate the fulfillment of all outstanding presidential pledges in every region.
- Secure a 90% electoral victory for His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
- Strengthen grassroots mobilization to effectively engage citizens and build lasting support.
Call to Action:
Generation Seven urges all RDCs (Resident District Commissioners) to actively support mobilization teams on the ground. The organization also extended appreciation to the Minister for the Presidency and the Office of the President for enabling pressure groups to contribute to the broader NRM mission.
“We request the NRM Secretariat to formally incorporate pressure groups like Generation Seven into planning and mobilization efforts,” said Mukasa.
Mobilization Framework:
- Regional and district coordinators are encouraged to keep mobilization structures active and consistent.
- Local leaders are tasked with compiling a comprehensive list of unfulfilled presidential pledges to guide campaign messaging and resource allocation.
As Uganda moves closer to the 2026 elections, Generation Seven is positioning itself as a key player in delivering on the NRM’s promises and ensuring a resounding victory for President Museveni.
