The police have recovered football coach Mike Mutebi who had been reported missing.
According the Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesman, Luke Owoyesigyire, Mutebi was found today March 9, 2036 in Kisubi around a banana plantation.
“He is currently in hospital as medical personnel assess his health condition.
We thank all those who volunteered information about his whereabouts,” he noted.
Mutebi allegedly disappeared on March 7, 2026 from Kisubi Beach.
Reports indicate that Mutebi had attended a Catholic seminar at the beach and was last seen at about 6:30pm as participants prepared to travel back to Kampala.
However, upon arrival in Kawempe, he could not be accounted for thus leading to a police search, by Entebbe police station.
Owoyesigyire said the police have launched investigation to know the circumstances under which he disappeared.
