The family of the late Gen. Moses Ali has clarified that it has not endorsed any candidate in the ongoing NRM primary campaigns for the Adjumani West parliamentary seat.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the family said it had taken note of the ongoing campaigns and wanted to make it clear that, despite claims or speculation, it has not endorsed any candidate for the seat.
The family said it remains in mourning following the death of Gen. Moses Ali and urged the people of Adjumani to exercise wisdom and good judgment when choosing their preferred candidate to represent them in Parliament.
Meanwhile, the family announced that the 40th-day Dua for the late Gen. Moses Ali will be held on August 29, 2026, in Adjumani.
Relatives, friends and well-wishers have been invited to attend the occasion and join the family in remembering and honouring the late General.
“We thank you for your continued prayers and support,” the family said.
