KAMPALA (UGNEWSLINE) – The Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) has ordered the replay of all disputed Senior Pool League fixtures affected by administrative uncertainty, nullifying walkovers awarded in circumstances where one team failed to appear or access to the scheduled venue was denied.
In an official communication dated October 14, 2026, addressed to all club managers, PAU Chairman Hon. Gideon Onyango outlined resolutions concerning the affected Match Day Three fixtures scheduled for September 27, 2026.
The association said matches that were completed by both teams would stand, with their results and points remaining valid.
He noted that such matches will not be replayed.
However, he clarified that fixtures in which one team honoured its commitment but the opponent failed to appear, or where access to the scheduled venue was denied, will be replayed in full.

Any walkovers awarded under those circumstances have been nullified.
To support the affected clubs, PAU has also pledged to contribute Shs200,000 to each club towards facilitating the replayed matches.
The decision follows concerns raised over the disputed fixtures and a communication issued by the chairman on October 8, 2026, which addressed the leadership issue affecting the office of the Technical Director.
PAU apologised to the affected clubs, players and officials for the inconvenience and financial burden caused by internal communication gaps, accepting responsibility for addressing the shortcomings.
The association said it remains committed to fairness, accountability and continuity in the league as it works with clubs to reschedule the affected matches.
Onyango has called for cooperation from all clubs as the competition moves forward, thanking stakeholders for their continued commitment to the development of pool sport in Uganda.
