NWOYA: The Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, has urged residents of Nwoya District to vote for the ruling party if they want uninterrupted access to government services.
“Vote NRM for services to reach the people,” Todwong emphasized while addressing residents of Latoro Village.
He explained how the NRM system operates, noting that effective service delivery depends on electing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and NRM flag bearers at all levels of leadership.
Todwong warned that voting for opposition candidates often disrupts the implementation of government programmes, leading to delays or complete blockage of services before they reach communities at the grassroots.
Using a practical demonstration, he illustrated how political alignment with the ruling party ensures smooth coordination from the central government to local leaders, enabling development programmes to trickle down efficiently to the people.
He called upon the people of Nwoya District to support President Yoweri Museveni and all NRM flag bearers, stressing that unity under the ruling party is essential for improved service delivery and sustained development in the area.
