KAMPALA, Uganda — President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has extended his congratulations to the Muslim community in Uganda upon the completion of the holy month of Ramadan, applauding their devotion and acts of faith.
In his message, the President commended Muslims for their sacrifices, prayers, and charitable efforts demonstrated during the fasting period.
He encouraged the faithful to uphold the values practiced during Ramadan and carry them forward into their daily lives.
Museveni emphasized that the discipline cultivated during the holy month should inspire continued hard work and productivity.
He urged Muslims to focus on wealth creation and job generation for their families by engaging in key economic sectors such as commercial agriculture, industry, services, and information and communication technology (ICT).
The President, together with the First Lady, Janet Museveni, also conveyed their best wishes for peaceful and joyful Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
