2025 UCE RESULTS : Makindye Secondary School has posted impressive results in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations, reaffirming its position among the top-performing schools in Makindye Division.

According to the school’s administration, the candidates registered 68As, 811Bs, 1,407 Cs and only 55 Ds, with all students passing successfully.

When this website visited the school on February 13, 2026, at its campus along Salaama–Munyonyo Road in Makindye Division, the Co-Director in charge of General Duties and Admissions, Mr. Sawula Isaac, attributed the remarkable performance to teamwork and dedication.

“All our candidates passed with flying colors. This achievement is a result of collective effort from our teachers, administration, students and supportive parents,” Isaac said.

Best-Performed Subjects

The school highlighted several subjects that stood out in performance:

  • Chemistry: 5 As, 114 Bs, 141 Cs
  • Mathematics: 6 As, 108 Bs, 147 Cs
  • Christian Religious Education (CRE) (optional): 20 As, 48 Bs, 96 Cs

Isaac commended the school principal, Ms. Kiyimba Christine, and her leadership team for providing the logistical and academic support necessary to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

“Our culture is to continuously improve performance standards, and we are committed to doing even better in the coming years,” he added.

Strong S1 Intake

Earlier, during the Senior One (S1) selection exercise held at Lugogo on February 12, 2026, the school admitted 536 new students.

According to the Director of Studies, Mr. Sekasamba Henry, the cut-off points stood at 15 aggregates for girls and 12 for boys, reflecting the institution’s competitive academic standing.

The school administration has appealed to parents to entrust them with more learners, citing the availability of well-developed academic facilities and co-curricular infrastructure capable of delivering holistic education to students from Uganda and beyond.
