2025 PLE RESULTS: Meritah Christian Junior School in Kiwanga, Mukono District, has posted an outstanding performance in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), achieving a 100 percent first-grade (Division One) pass rate.
All 28 pupils presented for the national examinations by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) attained first grade, marking a major milestone for the school.
Speaking to this website, the Deputy Head Teacher Mr. Wafula Fred attributed the success to faith, teamwork, and commitment from staff and management. He thanked God, the school director, and teachers for creating a supportive teaching and learning environment.
Mr. Wafula also encouraged parents whose children may not have performed as expected not to lose hope, noting that education offers many pathways, including technical and vocational skills. He invited parents to enroll their children at Meritah Christian Junior School, citing its strong Christian values, discipline, and academic excellence.
Primary Seven Class Teacher Mr. Bruno Martins praised teamwork among teachers and the dedication of the pupils, saying the results reflected collective effort and commitment.
Top-performing pupil Apio Abigail, who scored an aggregate of 5, thanked the school, her parents, and teachers for their support. She said the Christian environment helped her succeed and shared her ambition of becoming a cardiologist.
Another high achiever, Acen Esther, who attained an aggregate of 6, credited the school’s positive learning environment and expressed her desire to become a magistrate. She also encouraged parents to consider the school for their children.
The results highlight the impact of combining strong Christian values with academic rigor.
