KASESE– Police at Kisinga in Kisinga Town Council Kasese district have arrested a woman by the name Biira Doreen 28yrs old, Resident of Kagando II Cell in Kisinga Town Council in connection to the Disappearance of a one Dalton Masereka aged 6.
The Victim Arnold Masereka went missing on 12th May 2025, and is a son to Edward Muhindo, a resident of the same area. According to Muhindo, his son disappeared after being accused of stealing two chicks belonging to their neighbor Biira Doreen.
Edward Muhindo further explained that the owner of pourtry birds , Biira fined the victim, Ug shillings 77, 000 ( Seventy Seven Thousand Shillings)
OTHER CASES OF MISSING CHILDREN
One month ago, April 4th 2024, Police at Kasese CPS in Kasese Municipality registered a case of a missing child , Mumbere Kismart one and half years who is still missing todate. Mbambu Morian 20 years old was remanded to Mubuku Government Prisons in Kasese.
Nelson Tumushime SP Spokesperson Police Kasese noted that a total of about 4 (four) children have been reported missing since the month of April 2025.
