KAMPALA, Uganda: A total of 178 students from Namilyango College who sat for the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations have achieved outstanding results, scoring points high enough to qualify them for university admission.
The college Deputy Headteacher in charge of Academics, Agnes Namiiro Mugoya, told this website on Monday, March 16, 2026, that 19 students scored the maximum 20 points. The majority of the candidates scored 19 points, while a few obtained 18 points.
Students who scored 20 points include Kivumbi Dion Tendo, Kiplimo Kennedy Josephat, Kiza Felix Richard, Rothomio John Bosco, Tashobya Ronny, Walusimbi Jeremia, Niwagaba Ivan, and Okalebo Ivan.
The best-performing science subjects were Biology, Technical Drawing, Physics, and Mathematics. In the arts category, the top subjects included Fine Art, Literature, and History.
Meanwhile, Namiiro also reported that the college presented a total of 393 candidates for the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations, all of whom passed with excellent results.
She attributed the impressive performance to teamwork and unity among all stakeholders, as well as the technical and academic support provided by the college administration led by Headmaster Mpuuga Constantine Sajabbi.
