A total of 5,551 students are set to graduate from Makerere university Business school [MUBS] Nakawa between 16th and 17th January 2025.
The communications officers at MUBS, Peter Odoch said that preparations for the highly anticipated event are in high gear.
He said out of 5551 students, 3319 are females and 2232 males.
“We wish to congratulate those students who are set to graduate both on the 16th and 17th January 2025 at Makerere University freedom square and wish them the best as they move out to venture into the world work spaces’ noted Odoch.
He particularly thanked Abdullatif Umar Bagoole who emerged as the best student after scoring 4.97 points. Nzanika Sadera was second with 4.92 points.
“We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to the government through the ministry of education and sports for all the necessary technical and financial support rendered to our school which has enabled us to achieve this milestone,” noted Odoch and also thanked the parents and sponsors of the students for standing tall in this education journey of their students.
The government has pledged to offer massive funding support to the school particularly the grant of 77bn towards the construction of the state of art central teaching facility [CTF] which is a gigantic flagship project that shall offer MUBS a new facelift as it continues offering an all-round higher education services to the citizens of the country according to the principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi during a recent exclusive interview with this website.
Part of the funds would cover technical works for fixing the internal road Network and completion of perimeter wall fencing all geared towards making MUBS the center of higher education in the country.
