The Police have announced the cancelation of the upcoming maiden music concert featuring local artist King Saha.
The event, which was set to take place on January 24, 2025, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, was being organized by Benon Galabuzi from Umoja Management.
Saha has made a name for himself with popular tracks such as Ebiseera, Nakyakala, Signal, Mukama Yamba, and Hullo Hullo, to name just a few.
“Today the Uganda Police Force has halted the local music event which was being organized by the Benon Galabuzi on Umoja management where e musician popularly known as King Saha, he music concert was to feature,” the police spokesperson, Rusoke Kituuma noted.
He explained that the halting of the event is based on the recommendation by the joint security and national security council technical team, which allegedly observed signs of potential structural failure on the facility likely to endanger public safety.
“So, as Uganda Police Force, we have halted the event until there rectifications on the facility so as to protect the wanaichi,” he noted.
