Police in Katwe have launched a full-scale investigation into the mysterious death of 25-year-old Nalubwama Caroline, who allegedly sustained severe injuries while at the home of city socialite Bryan Kirumira, popularly known as Bryan White, in Kyamula, Makindye Division.
According to preliminary reports, Nalubwama was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital after the incident but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Detectives swiftly responded to the scene, examining and documenting the area, while collecting exhibits believed to be crucial in uncovering what happened that night.
Her body has since been taken to the City Mortuary in Mulago for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, Bryan White, who is said to have also sustained injuries during the incident, is receiving medical treatment and has provided a statement to assist in the ongoing probe.
Investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses in an effort to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to Nalubwama’s tragic death.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the investigation, assuring the public that updates will be released as soon as substantial progress is made.
