MUKONO, Uganda – Over 2,000 Senior Six vacationists are set to converge at Seeta University’s main campus in Mukono District for the inaugural Seeta University Fest 2026, a landmark event positioning the young institution at the forefront of large-scale student engagement in Uganda.
In an exclusive interview, the Academic Registrar, Mr. Ronald Mbago, confirmed that the highly anticipated festival will take place on February 28, 2026, marking the university’s first-ever fest since its establishment.
A Strategic Welcome for Future Scholars
Mr. Mbago revealed that the festival has been strategically organized to bring together Senior Six students during their vacation period as the university prepares for its next academic intake.
“This is more than entertainment,” he noted. “It is an opportunity to inspire, orient, and connect with students as they transition into university life under the vision and leadership of Seeta University.”
The event is carefully designed to introduce prospective students to the institution’s culture while fostering unity and excitement about higher education.
Colour, Music, and Celebration
A major highlight of the festival will be a vibrant Colour Fest, where attendees are required to wear white shirts — symbolizing a fresh academic beginning.
Students will also enjoy live entertainment from popular MC Benji, electrifying mixes by DJ Liquid, interactive games, and a variety of engaging student activities. Organizers promise an energetic and memorable atmosphere where students can celebrate, network, and envision their academic futures.
