The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) is reminding departing passengers at Entebbe International Airport to adhere to airline check-in schedules to avoid inconvenience or missing their flights.
The authority warned that most international airlines close their check-in counters one hour before departure, making it essential for travelers to arrive early.
UCAA recommends arriving at least three hours before your flight to allow ample time for security checks, document verification, and other departure formalities.
“These travel tips are aimed at ensuring a smooth and safe journey for all passengers,” said UCAA. “Our priority is safety, safety and safety.”
Passengers are encouraged to plan their arrival accordingly and avoid last-minute rushes at the airport.
