KAMPALA, Uganda (UGNEWSLINE) –Victoria Motors Limited has launched an exhibition of the new 2026 Mitsubishi Triton pickup and Mitsubishi Outlander SUV in Kampala, as it seeks to encourage motorists to consider the long-term costs of buying used imported vehicles.
The four-day exhibition, running from October 8 to 11 at Kampala Marriott Hotel in Nsambya, is offering customers a five percent discount on orders placed during the event.
The Mitsubishi Triton is priced at Shs204 million, including a two-year or 50,000-kilometre service plan. The five percent exhibition discount translates into savings of about USD2,700 on the Triton.

Victoria Motors General Manager, Mwesigwa, said buyers are increasingly looking beyond the initial purchase price when choosing a vehicle.
“Buyers in Uganda are asking what a vehicle costs over five years, not what it costs on day one,” Mwesigwa said.
He said new Mitsubishi vehicles offer customers zero mileage, a 10-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty, genuine spare parts and servicing at the company’s workshop on Port Bell Road.
The Triton is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 135 kilowatts and 430 Newton metres of torque. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission and part-time four-wheel drive, alongside safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a reversing camera and parking sensors.
The Outlander, meanwhile, is a seven-seater SUV targeting families and executives seeking space and comfort, while visitors can also view the Mitsubishi Destinator, the latest addition to the company’s SUV range.
Victoria Motors is also targeting corporates, NGOs, oil and gas companies, mining firms and government agencies with operating lease options that include vehicle maintenance.
The company says it currently operates Uganda’s largest passenger operating lease fleet, with more than 600 vehicles in service.
Customers who prefer to buy can also access financing through I&M Bank, with payments starting from Shs2.7 million per month.
The exhibition is open daily from 8am to 11pm, with test drives and technical walkarounds available.
