KAMPALA, Uganda: Pearl Bank Uganda has concluded its festive campaign dubbed “Pearl Santa” with visits to key media houses, including Nation Media, Vision Group, and Next Media, among others. The visits were in recognition of the continued support these media organizations have provided in shaping the Pearl Bank narrative, especially as the Bank transitions from PostBank to Pearl Bank.
The festive holiday season is often characterized by merry-making and the spirit of togetherness, as families and friends prepare to celebrate Christmas. In line with this spirit, Pearl Bank aligned its festive campaign with the season to spread joy and appreciation.
Speaking about the campaign, Priscilla Akora, Head of Marketing and Communications at Pearl Bank, said:
“We rolled out the Pearl Santa campaign to celebrate our customers across select branches countrywide through surprise visits from Pearl Santa, who has been sharing the joy of the Christmas spirit. We climaxed the campaign today at our Nansana Branch.”
She added; “The campaign was intended to celebrate our customers in a personal and meaningful way. Inviting our very own Pearl Santa into our branches is a fun and heartfelt way to thank our customers for their loyalty and to share the joy of the season with them.”
Pearl Bank launched the Pearl Santa campaign on December 4 at its head office in Kampala. The campaign included activities across its Central Business District (CBD) branches, followed by regional activations held last week in the Northern, Eastern, and Western regions where the Bank has a presence.
Akora further noted that Pearl Santa is aligned with the Bank’s primary colour, purple, which is a core part of its corporate identity and a key element in the transition journey from PostBank to Pearl Bank.
“The rebrand is more than a name change; it is a renewed promise to serve our customers better. By welcoming Pearl Santa into our branches, we are putting a face to our appreciation while creating moments of human connection and building lasting relationships with our customers.”
Pearl Bank’s festive initiative marks its first customer engagement campaign under the new name and underscores the Bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through intentional, relationship-driven interactions.
Following its licensing approval by the Bank of Uganda to operate as Pearl Bank, the institution plans to roll out several initiatives aligned with its purpose of fostering prosperity for Ugandans. This mission is delivered through two high-impact goals: driving sustainable financial inclusion and stimulating entrepreneurship and service.
