The police together with the other security forces in Kabarole are actively searching for a man believed to be responsible for the murder of a 27-year-old woman.
The victim, Provia Ahimbisibwe, was discovered dead in her bedroom by her mother-in-law, Oliver Kyokushaba, who promptly alerted the police.
To aid in the investigation, a police sniffer dog was deployed to the scene, leading officers to the home of Aloysious Beinomugisha, a suspect who is currently evading arrest.
According to a police statement, “The sniffer dog directed investigators to the residence of Beinomugisha Aloysious, who is wanted in connection with the crime and is on the run.”
Law enforcement is calling on the public to assist by sharing any information that could help in locating the suspect, emphasizing that they are diligently working to apprehend him.
