Anavi Strategies has announced the addition of Joy Namunoga, MPA, to its growing team of policy and research experts.
Joy brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of transparency, fiscal accountability, and evidence-based governance across Africa and the United States.
In her new role at Anavi, Joy will lead data-driven program evaluations and research design for nonprofit and public-sector clients, helping organizations measure impact and strengthen policy outcomes.

Prior to joining Anavi, Joy held positions at leading institutions including the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government, ImpactED, GlobalGiving, ActionAid International, and the United Nations International Organization for Migration.
She is also the founder of Fix My Community, a civic tech platform that harnesses open data to improve health service delivery and promote government transparency.
A former U.S. Department of State Community Solutions Fellow, Joy’s work has consistently focused on using data and innovation to empower communities and drive systemic change.
