KAMPALA, Uganda- Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) is once again stepping up as the official hydration partner for the fourth edition of the Tusker Lite Mount Rwenzori Marathon, set to take place on August 23 in the Kasese District.
Known for its stunning scenery and cultural depth, the marathon will feature 42km, 21km, 10km, and 5km races. As part of the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, CCBU will supply Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water to keep all participants hydrated throughout the event—a partnership now in its fourth consecutive year.
“We’re excited to support an event that highlights the natural beauty of the Rwenzori region,” said Kirunda Magoola, Director of Public Affairs, Communication, and Sustainability at CCBU.
This year, CCBU is contributing UGX 173 million toward hydration efforts.
Amos Wekesa, Team Lead for the marathon, praised the company’s ongoing support, calling its role in providing water essential to the event’s continued success.
