Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has rewarded 54 of its top-performing distributors with fully equipped Tuk-Tuk delivery vehicles under its Tuk-Tuk Peak Challenge, a move aimed at strengthening last-mile distribution and boosting business growth.
The initiative recognized distributors who met and exceeded their peak sales targets, equipping them with practical tools to enhance efficiency in reaching customers. The Tuk-Tuks are expected to improve delivery speed, expand market coverage, and ensure consistent product availability across retail outlets.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Ellis Muhimbise, Sales Director at CCBU, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering its distribution network as a key driver of success.
Meanwhile, Emmy Hashakimana, General Manager of CCBU, noted that the initiative reflects the company’s broader strategy of creating shared value with its partners.
“For Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, partnering with customers for growth goes beyond the product itself. By rewarding strong performance and investing in our distributors’ capacity, we enable them to grow their businesses while improving product availability for consumers,” he said.
Hashakimana added that the Tuk-Tuk Challenge is part of CCBU’s wider commitment to customer-centric execution, reliable service delivery, and building long-term partnerships with distributors across Uganda.
