Op-Ed: Uganda’s downstream petroleum sector is facing a defining moment. Rising fuel consumption, tighter tax regulations, and increasing demand for operational transparency have placed unprecedented pressure on fuel station owners. In a sector long dominated by manual operations and paper-based reporting, technology is now reshaping how business is done on the forecourt.

At the center of this transformation is the Pesapal Forecourt Management Solution (FMS) — a digital solution purpose-built for African fuel retailers.
