KAMPALA-The Government Chief Whip, Hon. Denis Hamson Obua, has today picked expression of interest forms from the NRM Electoral Commission offices in Kampala, officially affirming his strong and continuous aspiration for the Ajuri County Member of Parliament.
Speaking to the media shortly after the exercise, Hon. Obua expressed gratitude to the NRM Party Secretariat for providing a transparent and structured process for aspiring candidates.
He also commended his fellow participants for their commitment and active participation in the democratic exercise.
“I appreciate all those who have expressed interest. This is a sign of a vibrant party and a strong democratic foundation,” Hon. Obua remarked.
Hon. Obua boasts of an industrious credential having served as the Commissioner of Parliament, State Minister of Sports, Chairperson of Science and Technology Committee of Parliament, Spokesperson Commonwealth Youth Forum and voted as best the performing MP in 2010 with 100% rating, among others.
