Ugandan singer Winnie Nwagi has a simple message for social media users keeping a close eye on her changing appearance: find something else to talk about.

The Swangz Avenue star has responded to comments about her physique, particularly remarks suggesting that her backside looks different from before.
Rather than getting drawn into the online chatter, Nwagi explained that the change is simply part of losing weight.
‘Bodies change’
According to the singer, weight loss does not happen in just one part of the body. As people shed weight, their bodies can naturally change shape, something she says should not become a public debate.
Her response also took aim at people who appear overly invested in analysing celebrities’ bodies.
Nwagi questioned why strangers feel entitled to scrutinise how someone looks, arguing that people would be better off focusing on their own lives.
And she went further, defending those who choose to alter their appearance.
Whether someone gains weight, loses it or decides to change their body, she said, such choices should remain personal.
Celebrity bodies under the microscope
Nwagi’s comments tap into a familiar social media phenomenon, where every change in a celebrity’s appearance can quickly become a talking point.
For public figures, the scrutiny can be relentless, from hairstyles and fashion choices to weight and body shape.
But Nwagi appears determined not to let the conversation dictate how she feels about herself.
Her message is straightforward: her body, her choices, and, as far as she is concerned, her business.
