The media industry is grieving the loss of Pearl FM journalist Ali Ssewanyana, widely known as Octopus, a seasoned reporter of general and sports news.
Ssewanyana, celebrated for his vast sports knowledge and precise match predictions, passed away on Thursday 29th Jan, afternoon at Kawolo Hospital in Lugazi.
His passing has deeply affected colleagues, listeners, and the broader journalism fraternity, where he earned respect for his commitment, enthusiasm, and vibrant on-air personality.
Burial will take place tomorrow Friday at kyazanga Malongo, Masaka district at 2:00 PM
