President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has made slight changes to the proposed Cabinet list that had earlier been submitted to Parliament for approval.
According to a statement released by the President’s Press Unit, Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba has been appointed Minister of Information, Communications Technology and National Guidance.
The statement also indicated that Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero has been appointed Government Chief Whip.
The changes come as Parliament continues the process of considering and approving the new Cabinet appointments.
The President’s Press Unit said the adjustments were part of the ongoing reorganization of government to strengthen service delivery and leadership in key sectors.
