KAMPALA, Uganda — Royco has officially launched its nationwide “Flava Boss” campaign, a month-long activation drive aimed at bringing the brand closer to consumers through a series of vibrant market activations across Uganda.

For generations, Royco has remained a trusted cooking companion in Ugandan homes, recognized for enhancing everyday meals with rich taste and flavor.

The campaign officially kicked off at Busega Market and will continue through selected towns and markets across the country before concluding in Masaka at the end of the activation period. Through these engagements, consumers will get an opportunity to interact directly with the brand and experience firsthand how Royco enhances everyday cooking.

Speaking about the rollout, Grace Nandawula, Marketing Manager at Unilever, said the campaign reflects the brand’s commitment to maintaining a strong connection with its consumers.

“Royco has been part of Ugandan kitchens for years, and this campaign is about celebrating that connection. Through Flava Boss, we are bringing that experience directly to our consumers and reinforcing the role we play in enhancing everyday meals,” she said.

The Busega Market activation attracted members of the market community and surrounding residents, creating an energetic atmosphere filled with cooking demonstrations, competitions, and entertainment.

Lucky participants walked away with gifts from Royco, while members of the public also took part in cooking competitions organized during the activation.

Many attendees praised Royco for consistently bringing its products closer to consumers and educating communities on how best to use them in everyday cooking.

Over the coming weeks, the Flava Boss activation teams will continue traversing different regions of the country, delivering interactive experiences and engaging directly with consumers in local markets nationwide.
