18th July 2026
RE: APPEAL FOR THE RELEASE OF CHAIRMAN MAN HEE LEE
With the Great respect I greet you and I thank you so much for the great work you are doing for the republic of South Korea and may God bless you.
As a Religious leader and Archbishop of Shield of faith and a director of College of Bishops in East Africa am writing with deep pain concerning the continued detention of the Chairman Man Hee Lee of shincheonji church of Jesus Chairman Lee was arrested in south Korea in relation with political election matters but I request a pardon about him being in detention due to his old age and might be dangerous for his life Chairman Lee has been a world peace ambassador who touched so many lives and changed people’s minds about peace positively and through his tireless work he traveled in many countries of the world settling disputes and conflicts such as the Mindanao conflict in Philippines.
Therefore with great honour and respect I request the release of Chairman Lee and this will show a great and good image of the country and God will be pleased as well for his servant to continue to do his work.
Yours faithfully Archbishop Alimos second born
The Head of SHIELD OF FAITH EAST AFRICA
