2025 PLE Results, Big Statement— St Maximus Day Care and Primary School in Kiwanga, Seeta–Mukono, has registered an impressive breakthrough in its early years of operation after posting outstanding results in 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

All five candidates who sat for the 2025 PLE from the school attained First Grade passes, giving the institution a 100 percent success rate in the top division. School administrators have described the achievement as a strong foundation for future academic excellence.

The School Director, Mr. Maxima Bareeba, expressed great satisfaction with the performance, noting that the results affirm the school’s educational vision. “We are very pleased with the outcome of our first sitting. Every candidate passed in First Grade, which has encouraged us to aim even higher in the coming years,” he said. Mr. Bareeba added that the school now targets consistent results with aggregates of 4 and 5.

He further emphasized the school’s commitment to holistic education, urging parents to consider St Maximus as a center that nurtures learners academically, practically, and morally. He noted that the school offers affordable and flexible fees to ensure that quality education remains accessible to families in the community.

The success has largely been attributed to the school’s effective implementation of Uganda’s new lower primary curriculum, which focuses on competency-based and hands-on learning. Director of Studies Mr. Sowali Stephen explained that the teaching approach prioritizes practical engagement, allowing learners to demonstrate understanding through real-life application rather than rote learning.Commending the pupils, P7 Mathematics Teacher Ms. Shamim Namulindwa described them as disciplined and fast learners whose commitment contributed greatly to their strong performance across subjects.

Meanwhile, Deputy Headteacher Mr. Omodan Julius thanked parents for their continued trust in the school and encouraged more families to enroll their children. “When parents and schools work together, learners succeed,” he said.

School leaders view the maiden PLE results as confirmation that their teaching methods are effective and as motivation to strive for even greater achievements. With a focus on practical skills, affordability, and all-round learner development, St Maximus Day Care and Primary School is steadily establishing itself as a reliable choice for primary education in the Mukono region.

Parents seeking enrollment information are encouraged to contact the school for further details (0701452464)
