Uganda Baati has unveiled a refreshed brand campaign for Dumuzaz, one of Uganda’s most iconic roof sheet brand, reaffirming its legacy as the country’s trusted roof sheet for generations of homeowners.

Built on the campaign theme”Amabaati Ameeru, Amawangaazi”, the initiative seeks to reconnect Ugandans with a brand that has long been synonymous with quality, durability and dependable protection for homes across the country. The campaign is designed to shift consumers from asking for generic unpainted roof sheets to specifically requesting Dumuzaz by name.

Timothy Luzinda, Head-Marketing, said: “Dumuzaz is one of the most recognized and enduring brands in Uganda’s construction industry. For decades, it has sheltered families, businesses and communities across the country, earning a reputation for quality, durability and dependability. Through the ‘Amabaati Ameeru’ campaign, we are celebrating that rich heritage while reminding consumers that Dumuzaz remains the roof sheet that delivers lasting value. We want Ugandans to move beyond asking for generic unpainted roof sheets and confidently ask for Dumuzaz by name because it is a brand they know, trust and have relied on for generations.”

“Dumuzaz is more than a roof sheet; it is part of Uganda’s building heritage,” said Jackie Tahakanizibwa, Head Corporate Affairs. For years, Ugandan families have trusted Dumuzaz to protect the homes where their stories unfold, their children grow up, and their dreams take shape. Through the Amabaati Ameeru campaign, we are celebrating that legacy while reaffirming the quality and value that continue to make Dumuzaz the preferred choice today.

As Uganda’s first locally manufactured iron sheet, Dumuzaz holds a unique place in the country’s construction journey. The new campaign will bring this heritage to life.

The campaign will also showcase real stories from homeowners, dealers, builders and communities whose lives have been covered by Dumuzaz roofs through the years, reinforcing the message that a quality roof is a long-term investment that delivers value far beyond price.

With the call to action”Dumuzaz, Amabaati Ameeru, Amawangaazi,” Uganda Baati aims to strengthen awareness, deepen consumer trust and ensure that the country’s most enduring roof sheet heritage continues to serve generations to come.

About Dumuzaz

Dumuzaz is a Uganda Baati roof sheet brand renowned for its quality, durability and dependability. As Uganda’s first locally manufactured iron sheet, Dumuzaz has helped generations of Ugandans build homes with confidence and remains one of the country’s most trusted building partner.
