Africa’s Heyball ambassador, Ceasar Chandiga, has secured a spot in the final of the Commonwealth Heyball category, after defeating Tanzania’s Dullah Hussein from 7-5.
This impressive win marks Ceasar as the second Ugandan, alongside Kasozi Joseph Seed One, to reach the finals of the inaugural Commonwealth Billiards Games.
While Kasozi Joseph is competing in the blackball category, Chandiga will be showcasing his skills in the Heyball discipline.
The time elapsed during Chandiga’s match saw him maintaining a strong lead, ultimately emerging victorious.
The Ugandan contingent is abuzz with excitement, hoping that both Chandiga and Kasozi bring home medals.
In the lady’s categories, Ankah Sheila Kisakye managed to secure a spot in the semifinals in the blackball category, while Rukia Naiga was knocked out in the Heyball category.
