Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, arrived this morning in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to take part in the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) Conference.
At the Royal Terminal of King Khalid International Airport, the Vice President was received by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, along with several other officials, including Ambassador Isaac Sebulime, Uganda’s envoy to Saudi Arabia.
Vice President Alupo is representing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the high-level investment conference held under the theme “Investing in Humanity – Unlocking New Pathways to Shared Prosperity.”
About the Future Investment Initiative (FII9)
The conference officially runs from October 27 to 30, 2025, at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh.
The 9th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative will bring together the world’s most influential leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss strategies for global prosperity, explore innovative solutions, and establish new pathways for shared economic growth.
