The Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, Rachel Kawala said the operation, carried out on December 16, 2025, targeted individuals accused of waylaying and robbing members of the public in known crime hotspots across the city.
Areas covered during the sweep included Railway, Biwologoma, Nakasero, William Street, Old Kampala, Arua Park, and surrounding locations.
