2026 Local Council elections: Residents of Kacence East Cell in Kyamugorani Parish, Mbarara City, have endorsed Rukurwe Jackson as the NRM flag bearer for LC I Chairperson and Nurait Nalule as the party’s flag bearer for Women Council Chairperson during a village baraza.
The gathering reaffirmed its support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM), with residents pledging to back the party’s candidates in the Women Council elections scheduled for tomorrow 23rd and the LC I Chairperson elections on Tuesday, 28th.
The endorsements come as the NRM conducts village barazas nationwide to rally support for its flag bearers ahead of the Local Council elections.
