ADJUMANI WEST BY-ELECTION : The NRM’s village-based campaigns for party flagbearer James Leku Pilli continued in Adjumani West on Sunday with senior party principals joining the candidate on the campaign trail.Among the leaders campaigning alongside Pilli were NRM Vice Chairperson for the Northern Region Hon. Hamson Obua, Director for Mobilisation Hon. Dr. Rosemary Sseninde Nansubuga, and Senior Manager for Communications Mr. Rogers Mulindwa.

The leaders called for unity within the NRM and urged supporters to turn up in large numbers for President Yoweri Museveni’s rally scheduled for Tuesday, September 15.

They also encouraged voters to arrive early on polling day and carefully cast their ballots to avoid spoiling them.So far, rallies have been held at Oyuwi Primary School and Marinya in Esia Parish, Adropi Sub-county, with more campaign activities scheduled across the constituency.

“We are calling for unity within the NRM and encouraging our supporters to turn up in large numbers for President Museveni’s rally and to vote carefully on polling day,” the leaders said.
