Muslim clerics in Kawempe have vehemently condemned the recent acts of brutality by security forces against innocent civilians during the Kawempe North by-election, describing the actions as callous and a blatant disregard for human life.
The condemnation came during the Eid prayers at Bilal Islamic Schools in Bwaise, Kawempe Division, an event that was led by Muhammad Kamoga Junior, the son of Sheikh Muhammad Kamoga, the principal of Bilal Schools. In his address, Sheikh Kamoga Junior called for peace and urged those engaged in conflicts to reconsider their actions, highlighting that such confrontations yield no positive outcomes.
The Sheikh also took the opportunity to remind parents of their crucial role in securing their children’s future through education.
He emphasized that Bilal Schools provide a comprehensive education program, preparing children not only academically but also socially, to navigate the challenges of the future.
