PLE RESULTS: Busega Preparatory School, located in Lubaga Division, has emerged as one of the best-performing schools in the recently released Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) 2025 results, with all its 95 candidates passing successfully.
Speaking to this website on 31st January 2026 in an exclusive interview, the school’s Deputy Headmaster, Mr. Bukenya Aman, revealed that the candidates performed exceptionally well. Namugambwa Daniella emerged among the top performers with five aggregates, while Nyanzi Joseph and Lutooga Christiano each scored six aggregates, among many other impressive results.
Mr. Bukenya attributed the strong performance to the school’s commitment to offering an all-round education. He noted that, in addition to academics, the school emphasizes ICT, music, dance and drama, and sports, aimed at nurturing well-balanced learners.
He congratulated parents and guardians for entrusting the school with their children, adding that Busega Preparatory School, which was founded in 1989 with only 25 learners, has steadily grown and now boasts a pupil population of over 700.
Mr. Bukenya also applauded the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni, and her technical team for introducing the new curriculum. He noted that although schools are gradually adapting to it, full stakeholder participation will greatly enhance the quality of education and secure a brighter future for millions of Ugandan learners.
