Fort Portal, Uganda — dfcu Bank has opened its 55th branch in Fort Portal City, along Babiiha Road. The milestone reinforces the bank’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion, supporting entrepreneurship, and driving economic growth across Uganda’s Western region.
The branch will serve communities throughout the Tooro Sub-region including Kabarole, Kyenjojo, Kamwenge, Bunyangabu, and Kasese offering a full range of financial services designed for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Speaking at the launch event, the Guest of Honour, Richard Rwabuhinga, LC5 Chairman of Fort Portal City, highlighted the essential role of commercial banks and investments in transforming the lives of ordinary Ugandans.
