BUYENDE, Uganda (UGNEWSLINE)— Gospel musician and ministry leader Jean Peace Nakiyingi has donated mother kits to 100 expectant mothers in Buyende District as part of an initiative to support vulnerable women in the community.
The donation was made during a ministry outreach that also saw Jean Peace host Union Vision Mission Africa at Da Hope Land Church in Buyende.
The mission team, led by Rev. Godwin and Pr. James Bachumirwa, held prayer sessions and taught the Word of God to believers during the two-day mission.
Jean Peace has established several community initiatives on her ministry land in Buyende district, including Da Hope Nursery and Primary School, which provides education to vulnerable children, and Da Hope Land Church, which serves the spiritual needs of the local community.
As part of the outreach to young people, Jean Peace, together with the Gideons, distributed Good News Bibles to school learners and prayed for the future of the young generation.
The activities brought together community members, believers and school children for prayer, Bible teaching and encouragement, with an emphasis on strengthening families and investing in the future of children in Buyende.
