UGNewsline | Entertainment – The family of late comedian Kapere Lufotose has called on all women who had children with him to come forward and bring the children to the family, assuring them of acceptance and support.
Kapere was laid to rest in Kiyunga, Mukono District, on Tuesday following his sudden death on Sunday evening.
The burial ceremony attracted several mourners, including entertainment industry stakeholders, politicians, family members and residents of the area, who gathered to pay their last respects to the comedian.
Speaking to the media during the burial, a brother to Kapere’s wife appealed to women who have children with the deceased to bring them forward so they can be raised together with their other siblings.
He assured the women that the family was ready to welcome the children and that Kapere’s wife was willing and capable of raising them alongside her own.
“I call upon all those who have Kapere’s children to come forward and bring them to my sister so that they can grow up together as brothers and sisters. She has the potential to raise them,” he said.
The family’s appeal is aimed at bringing all of Kapere’s children together and ensuring they grow up knowing and relating with one another as siblings.
