The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has today rolled out the display and verification of the membership register in all villages nationwide.
The party secretariat last month undertook the digitisation of the 18 million and above members.
The NRM vice chairperson for the Eastern Region, Capt. Mike Mukula, who presided over the launch of the display exercise, tasked all party members to cross-check their details with the village registrars beginning Wednesday, 29th, to avoid missing out on participating in the structure and primary elections.
“The register is very vital in ensuring transparent and credible primary elections of flag bearers and building a strong party up to the grassroots,” Hon. Mukula said.
