Kampala, Uganda- Professionals from various sectors are set to converge at Protea Skyz Hotel, Naguru on Friday, 8th August 2025 for the highly anticipated Personal Branding Masterclass, organized by award-winning communications strategist and personal branding researcher Lyn Tukei

Under the theme “Building a Personal Brand That Works as Hard as You Do,” the half-day hybrid masterclass will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and will feature a powerful lineup of industry thought leaders who have built credible and influential personal brands both online and offline.

“Many professionals spend years doing the work, but very little time telling the story,” says Lyn Tukei, who doubles as the founder at ‘Brand Help’, a strategic thinktank and knowledge repository dedicated to elevating personal brands.”

The speaker line-up includes: Dr. Paul Kasenene, Founder, Dr. Kasenene who will speak about how he used his online Personal Brand to drive Organizational perception and growth. Josephine Okui Ossiya, CEO, Capital Markets Authority & Board Member, Bank of Uganda will speak about“Journey to the Boardroom and C-Suite Using Personal Branding”.

Other speakers include Jackie Tahakanizibwa, Shamim Walusimbi, Connie Nankya, Sumin Namaganda, and Pepe Minambo, all sharing their unique journeys and strategic insights on how branding, visibility, and authenticity can shape leadership growth.

Attendees will also participate in an interactive session where they’ll commit to practical actions that amplify their presence and influence beyond the event.

About the Organizer:

Lyn Tukei is a distinguished strategic communications and public relations practitioner with a decade of experience shaping powerful institutional narratives.

She is the Manager, Communications and Public Relations at the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Uganda and also serves as Deputy Secretary General at the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU).

Ms. Tukei holds a Master’s in Corporate and Strategic Communication from Makerere University and a postgraduate certificate in Media Studies from Oslo Metropolitan University.

Her deep passion lies at the forefront of digital transformation, particularly in the realm of AI, technology, and the strategic power of online personal branding. Lyn’s recent research extensively explores how a meticulously cultivated executive online presence directly shapes public perception and serves as a significant catalyst for business growth.

Ms. Tukei’s expertise has earned her the prestigious Tebere-Mudin Award (2018) by Monitor Publications, 2023 Young Communicator of the Year Award by PRAU and recognition among Propel USA’s Top 100 Most Influential Fintech PR Professionals globally in 2023.
