Kampala Metropolitan Police are investigating a robbery and assault that occurred on 27th December 2025 at Chezz Boss Mutoto Bar in Munyonyo, Kampala City.
Preliminary reports indicate that a group of suspects, allegedly led by businessman Shakibu Cham from the Kasanga area, attacked patrons, assaulting them and stealing four mobile phones. A case of robbery and assault has been officially registered at Kabalagala Police Station.
Police investigators visited the scene and are working to identify all individuals involved. Shakibu Cham has been summoned to report to Kabalagala Police Station to assist with ongoing inquiries.
Deputy Public Relations Officer Kampala Metropolitan, Luke Owoyesigyire condemned the attack, stating, “The Police strongly condemn acts of violence and lawlessness. Investigations will be carried out to their logical conclusion to ensure all perpetrators are brought to justice.”
