Renowned blogger arrested over engaging in acts against nature
The police are investing a social media influencer and YouTuber Kenneth Lukyamuzi commonly ‘Ken Mukalakasa The Community Radio’ for allegedly engaging in what they referred to as acts against natural order.
The suspect was picked by two investigators from the office of the Youth and Children State Minister, Balam Barugahara where Lukyamuzi had been summoned to clarify on the allegations.
In a YouTube video seen by this publication, Lukyamuzi is seen pleading with the Minister on his knees during the meeting after the minister contacted investigators to pick him.
However, Barugahara assured him that he would not be taken to prison if he had apologized but only needed to go with the investigation officers who where looking for him and record a formal statement and also answer some questions.
He is also seen seeking forgiveness from the officers, who later went away with him.
In a statement issued by the Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, Rachael Kawala, the 27 year-old social media influencer was arrested following a video reportedly recorded in 2018, which allegedly shows him and others, still at large, engaging in such acts in Kajjansi.
Its alleged that the suspect went into hiding to elude police arrest when the video went viral.
The suspect was arrested on Match 24, 2026, in Kampala and is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
Kawala noted that the case file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for perusal and legal guidance.S
The cautioned the public against engaging in unlawful acts and is encouraged to report any individuals involved in such activities to the relevant authorities.
Kawala noted that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the other suspects connected to the case.
