MURCHISON FALLS, Uganda — The Tekel Health Foundation has announced Woman Blossom Getaway Season 3, a weekend retreat happening from November 7th to 9th, 2025, at the beautiful Murchison Falls.
At a participation fee of UGX 775,000, the getaway promises an enriching experience of rest, reflection, and renewal for women from all walks of life.
“I want to welcome all women to the Woman Blossom Getaway Season Three,” said Ms. Gift Nakayinga, founder of Tekel Health Foundation and host of the event. “If you want to be truly productive, you must learn to rest. Rest and recovery are not luxuries — they are important for anyone who wants to do well and live fully.”
Ms. Nakayinga also shared that quiet time away from distractions helps people think better and find new ideas.
“Real inspiration comes when you step away from the endless noise and communication of daily life, your best ideas and natural creativity appear when you are happy and at peace.”
The theme for this year’s getaway is “Recovery, Stillness, and Rediscovery.” It encourages women to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God’s plan for their lives.
Participants will take part in quiet reflection sessions, prayer walks, worship under the open sky, and group discussions that help them find clarity and purpose. Activities like journaling by the river and sharing experiences in nature will help women disconnect from the digital world and listen to God’s gentle voice.
Set in the calm and beautiful surroundings of Murchison Falls, the getaway reminds women that true success comes from a rested heart.
“Rest is not a reward after hard work, it is what keeps you going,” Ms. Nakayinga said.
The Woman Blossom Getaway has become a growing movement that teaches women that success is not just about doing more, but about becoming more.
When women take time to rest, reflect, and renew, they find new strength, and that strength changes the world.
