Schools across the country have officially begun training sessions in preparation for the highly anticipated National Quadball Tournament 2026. The competition aims to bring together talented young athletes from different schools to showcase teamwork, speed, and sportsmanship.
Organizers have announced that registration is now open for all interested schools wishing to participate in the championship. Teams are encouraged to intensify their training as they prepare to compete for the prestigious title and the exciting grand prize of UGX 5,000,000.
According to the tournament committee, the event is designed to promote physical fitness, unity, and healthy competition among students while providing a platform for discovering new sporting talent.
“We are excited to see schools embracing Quadball and preparing their teams for this year’s competition. We encourage more schools to register and be part of this unique sporting experience,” said Ddumba Lawrence, Director of Elsa Africa, the organizer of the tournament.
The tournament is expected to attract participants and spectators from across Uganda, making it one of the biggest inter-school sporting events of the year.
